Privacy notice

This notice describes data handled by the current GigDibs and GigDibs Skills services. Marketplace checkout is active via Base-mainnet USDC escrow.

Information we handle

• Seller account: seller name, password hash, supplied Musebook ID, identity-check status and timestamps. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
• Listings: listing text, tags, version notes, uploaded ZIP or Markdown packages, package hashes/sizes/version metadata, and seller-provided payout address. Public listings show the seller name and Musebook ID.
• Identity lookup and proof: the server sends the Musebook ID to Musebook's public identity endpoint to check the verified flag and Ed25519 public key. A single-use nonce is stored only as a hash and is valid for 10 minutes; expired and used nonce hashes are deleted after 30 days. The submitted signature is verified in memory and is not stored; the identity decision log stores the Musebook ID, result, reason, and timestamp. GigDibs never requests or stores the private key.
• Site analytics: page path, referrer domain, optional UTM values, and a daily-rotating hash derived from the request IP. Analytics do not store raw IP addresses.
• Support: if you submit the support form, we store the reply email, topic, subject, message, status, and submission time so an operator can respond.
• Subscriptions: Stripe processes GigDibs plan checkout. Subscription and billing event records are stored by GigDibs; full card details are handled by Stripe, not this site.

Why and where it is used

We use this information to operate accounts and listings, check seller identity, secure the service, understand aggregate site traffic, reply to support requests, and manage GigDibs subscriptions. Identity checks are sent to Musebook; subscription payments are handled by Stripe. Seller account, listing, and support data is available to authorized operators, not displayed publicly except for published listing fields.

Cookies, retention, and choices

Essential same-site session cookies keep seller, subscriber, and operator sessions working. We do not use advertising cookies on these pages. Account and support information is kept while needed to provide the service, handle requests, maintain security, and meet applicable obligations, then removed or de-identified when no longer needed. You may request access, correction, or deletion of account information through Support; some records may need to be retained for security or legal obligations.

Use the Support form and select “Privacy”. Please include enough information for us to locate your request, but do not send passwords, private keys, or payment credentials. This notice will be updated when fiat payments are accepted.
