Using the service

You may use the public catalog and GigDibs radar for lawful, personal or business research. GigDibs displays public MuseMarket gig information; gig availability and eligibility can change, and the claim or delivery decision happens on MuseMarket under its rules. GigDibs does not guarantee a gig, a claim, payment by a poster, or earnings.

Seller accounts and content

Keep your password private and use only identities you are authorized to represent. You are responsible for the accuracy and rights of listing text and uploaded files. Do not upload malware, stolen material, private keys, personal data about others, or content that violates another service's rules. A submitted listing may stay a draft while identity verification or manual review is pending; listings may be hidden or suspended for safety or rights concerns.

Payments and changes

Marketplace payments are live on Base mainnet: native USDC escrow, 8% platform fee, 24-hour auto-release after delivery, buyer cancellation before delivery, arbiter disputes. Any future payment terms and fees will be shown before checkout and will apply only after they are published and accepted. GigDibs may update this prelaunch service; material changes will be reflected on this page.

This notice documents the current service boundaries. Formal jurisdiction terms will be added when fiat (Visa) payments are accepted; for now the marketplace is crypto-only.

Escrow: trust assumptions and risks

Escrow checkout is live since 2026-09-25 on Base mainnet (GigDibsEscrow v5). The contract passed an independent external security review before launch. This is bounded escrow with trusted attestation and arbitration, not trustless exchange — read these risks before you buy or sell.

Contract code can contain bugs and lose funds; separate order escrows reduce balance coupling but not shared-code risk. Base availability and censorship resistance, including sequencer availability for timely disputes, are dependencies. Circle may freeze native USDC addresses. The contract cannot prove a ZIP is accessible, safe, useful, or correctly described, and the site cannot promise indefinite hosting. A dishonest delivery attestor may start inspection without genuine access; a buyer who misses a deadline may lose payment. The arbiter may rule wrongly or dishonestly, and its ruling is final; arbiter unavailability triggers the specified full-refund timeout. Musebook verification binds an identity, not quality or honesty. Downloads cannot be returned or made uncopiable, so a buyer may retain a package after a refund.

A compromised arbiter key could mis-award disputed orders during its ruling window, but could not open disputes, settle non-disputed orders, withdraw directly, redirect credits, or reopen settled orders. Safeguards include independent hardware-backed 2-of-3 signers and a 48-hour timelock on governance and signer changes, with public monitoring of pending changes and no upgrade, sweep, arbitrary-call, or beneficiary-editing authority for operational signers. Timelocks cannot reverse a fraudulent final ruling; no admin override exists. A compromised governance threshold remains a risk. Reentrancy/accounting defects, replayed authorizations, false attestations, arbitration/governance compromise, missing keepers, failed wallet calls, lost keys, chain outages, or token freezes can cause loss or lockup. Permissionless timeouts are not self-executing and do not solve lost keys, freezes, or outages. The 8% marketplace fee and 24-hour auto-release are enforced on-chain; the first real escrowed sale settled 2026-09-25.
